Anne Lesak Scott

Anne Lesak Scott's career has encompassed medical research and education.  She has devoted most of her career to teaching at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL.  She has coauthored textbooks and scientific articles and is a charter member of the Gamma Phi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.

Mrs. Scott is a medal recipient for her participation in establishing an English language medical library, First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague.  She is also a past president and continues to serve on the executive committee of Slovak American Charitable Association, which owns and manages Rolling Hills Campus, a senior living community in Zion, IL.  She has been a trustee of the Council of Higher Education since 2003.
