George T. Drost George T. Drost is the founder of the general practice law firm of Drost, Kivlahan & McMshon, Ltd. He received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 1972 and his A.B. from Augustana College in 1969. In addition to being a partner in a law firm, George is also Honorary Consul for the Czech Republic, Chicago Area, a Director of CoVest Banc in Des Plaines, an Adjunct Professor at The John Marshall Law School and serves on the Planning Commission for the Village of Arlington Heights. He has also served on Advocate Health Care System’s Board of Directors, as Vice Chairman of the Uhlich Children’s Home and currently, serves as a Director of the Lutheran Home & Services for the Aged in Arlington Heights. Since 1989, he has been active in several initiatives to better relations between the Czech Republic and the United States, including The John Marshall Law School’s Czech Exchange Program and the Council of Higher Education. He was presented at the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences (SVU) and is an active member of the Czech and Slovak National Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He has been married for 33 years to Beth Drost (nec Beart) and has three children and two grandchildren. Beth Drost recently retired from the Lutheran Home & Services for the Aged. |
