Vlasta Sneberger Vlasta Sneberger, Vice President of MidAmerica Bank, has been in the banking industry for 32 years, and is currently responsible for the management of the Bank’s Central Region branch network. She was born in Prague, Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia). She was educated in the Realne Gymnazium in Prague; Business School of the American Institute, Germany; licentiate degree in English from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina; the American Institute of Banking, Chicago; and speaks various languages. Vlasta, having served on the Board of Trustees of the Council of Higher Education since 1996, chairs CHE’s Public Relations Committee. She is also actively involved in the community as Director and Past President of Morton College Foundation; Director and Past President of the Rotary Club of Cicero; Director of Cicero Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Director and past Campaign Chair of the United Way/Community Chest; and Vice President of the Czechoslovak League for Financial Institutions; while also serving on committees of various other civic, business and community organizations. She is a recipient of numerous humanitarian,
community leadership and business achievement awards. Vlasta strongly believes
that helping others is one way she can give something back to our great country,
the United States of America, for the freedom and opportunities afforded to her
and her family. She is proud to be an American and cherishes her Czech heritage.
Vlasta and her husband, Josef, have one married daughter and a grandchild on the
way. |
